Totworld Child Care Centre, received its status as a non-profit corporation on March 18, 1986. As a member of the corporation, the parent is entitled to vote at the annual meeting of the corporation. This is held each November and at that time the members elect the Board of Directors. At the present time there are ten Board Positions.
Parents are encouraged to participate in the operation of the child care centre and are welcome to attend the regular Board meeting as observers.
If a particular issue is to be raised by a parent, the parent may make a presentation to the Board having first contacted the Director to have the matter added to the agenda.
